2025 – Resolution on God’s Grace
Whereas we, as born-again believers and members of the family of God, are genuinely thankful for God’s grace, which is His unmerited favor given to us by the Father, even though none of us deserves this wonderful gift (Ephesians 2:8,9); and
Whereas mankind is guilty before a holy and righteous God (Romans 5:12), our position being that we all are sinners (Romans 3:23), we are thankful for God’s process of intervening and providing salvation for those who by faith, believe on His Son (Ephesians 2:5); and
Whereas we are also thankful for God’s perpetual Love that in His mercy, has saved us by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost (Titus 3:5), and that it is only by His grace that we live, and move, and have our being (Acts 17:28), and that we are justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life (Titus 3:7); and
Whereas we are also thankful for God’s abundant grace in other areas of the Christian life, such as how He provides grace to faithfully serve Him (1 Peter 4:10);
Be it therefore resolved that we, the members of the Independent Baptist Fellowship of North America meeting at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Bethesda, Ohio, June 17-19, 2025, do hereby acknowledge and commend the precious grace of God that bringeth salvation that hath appeared to all men (Titus 2:11).
Be it further resolved that we shall stand in these last days by His grace and rejoice in hope of the glory of God (Romans 5:2) and look forward to His provision of resurrection unto eternal life (John 11:25,26).
Be it finally resolved that we will continue to teach and preach the Gospel to this lost and dying world who needs to hear about the wonderful grace of God (Matthew 28:19,20).
